If you aren’t racing…do not buy this bike. Despite the industry move to disc brakes we still believe the option for rim brakes should not be taken away and it’s the racing community that demands it. It’s still lighter and more aerodynamic and braking modulation is still perfect for the experienced cyclist. We’ve cleaned up the head tube aerodynamics to still hit the drag numbers we need to make it race worth without adding extra weight. We have increased the tire clearance to handle 30mm tires to provide the same comfort advantages of disc brake frame. We have used a superlight carbon layup schedule using Toray T1000 and nanotech to make a sub 900 gram frame making it quite easy to build a complete bike at the UCI weight limit. The Subiaco is named after a sector of Perth, Australia not only famous for the AFL oval where the Eagles and Dockers play but also the start of one of the toughest Sunday group rides in the city where many of the cities fastest road riders show what they are made of.
