Schwalbe Aerothan Endurance Race TPU Presta Tube

Aerothan is a material that completely redefines the bicycle inner tube: extremely lightweight, highly puncture-resistant and designed for minimal rolling resistance.

Schwalbe introduces the new generation of its Aerothan inner tubes. These extremely lightweight and robust tubes now feature an aluminum shank and external threads (previously plastic). This not only provides added stability and improved handling but also offers various compatibility advantages.

At the same time, the Aerothan tube impresses with its key performance advantages: minimal weight, very low rolling resistance, and high durability. It has been awarded test winner status in all six specialist magazine tests it has participated in – most recently in Bike (01/2025) and Mountainbike (9/2024). The new Aerothan tubes are still produced at Schwalbe's headquarters in Reichshof, North Rhine-Westphalia, and are available now. The selection ranges from small to large: Schwalbe offers a total of 39 different products.

• Low rolling resistance - Aerothan Tubes have extremely low rolling resistance, comparable to tubeless tires
• Increased breakdown protection - Aerothan tubes offer increased puncture protection. Their high puncture resistance prevents sudden air loss.
• Aluminum Valve for reliable handling - The new Aerothan hose features an aluminum valve stem with an external thread (previously: plastic). The extremely robust construction makes it easier to handle in everyday use and ensures a secure connection during inflation.
