Rex Purple is a slightly colder than normal violet wax. Used when the temperatures are slightly below zero, 0°C to -2°C. Often a good choice for recreational skiers for those milder days. On the race front, it is used to cover up powergrip green.
Rex Blue Special is a warmer, stickier version of the legendary Rex Blue Grip. It is a slightly softer for milder frosts, and hard, worn tracks in sub zero conditions. Best used in -1°C to -4°C.
