Product Details
Brand: Rode
Achieve unparalleled grip and performance with Rode Grip Wax, the trusted choice for Nordic skiing enthusiasts. Specially formulated for optimal traction in varying snow conditions, this premium wax ensures smooth and efficient strides, letting you focus on enjoying your snowsport adventures.
Alaska P10 (-15C/-30C)
A super hard kick wax for the most extreme cold, and dry conditions, but most often used as a cover for speeding up softer waxes.
Blue Super P32 (-1C/-10C)
One of the all-time great recipes! The P32 Blue Super gives amazing grip in a wide temperature range, and even lower than what it says on the tin. This wax is easy to spot on professional tech's work tables come race day. We sell many more of the Blue Supers in Canada than any other wax, trust the crowd with this one!
Blue Super Extra P38 (-1C/-10C)
Super extra is super extra good! A super popular wax that for a condition that you are expected to find a few times in the winter. Best for mid to high humidity, fresh or falling snow. A sweet temperature range and great balance in It's feel. This kick wax is world cup ready when you need it. If the tracks are getting skied in but not glazing quite yet, try out Super Weiss as well..
Green P20 (-4C/-15C)
From the famed Italian kick wax company, this softer green hardwax lives up to It's heritage by being one of the best kickers for cold (but not too cold) winter days! Best applied in thin layers and corked smooth as can be. If you have a higher camber grip pocket, use a blue or binder to layer higher before applying the green. Test against Blue Super in racing conditions.
Rossa P50 (0C/+3C)
The go-to sticky hardwax for warm snow conditions. Use Rossa right before thinking about switching to klister. A classic recipe proven time and again nicknamed cherry cheesecake! If you need your red just a bit harder, try out Rot Extra.
ROT Extra P52 (0C/+2C)
A sticky grip wax that's slightly less sticky than P50 Rossa kick wax for rapidly warming temperatures. For when Rossa has too much bite and stick, sometimes you need less bite and extra rot! Sounds weird, but it works.
Super Weiss P28 (-1C/-7C)
Rode's Blue Super Weiss isn't blue at all! Weiss, the German word for 'white', is great for untransformed, sloppy snow just below zero. Super Weiss is slightly better tuned to newer snow when compared to the other Rode waxes in this temperature range. Urban legend calls it unbeatable in greasy snow conditions, but also in dry, alpine climates. Add it to your box and test the options!
Viola Extra P42 (1C/-3C)
Another Rode option for temperatures around zero degrees, more of middle ground before switching to klister. The more 'Extra' version of the insanely popular P40 Viola. The 'extra' in this wax is for a little extra sticky. You'll want to apply it at room temperature if you can, and will usually need to be covered due to the stickiness.
Viola Multigrade P46 (0C/-5C)
This extremely popular, really grippy wax is known by the single word 'Multigrade'. Fantastic for training when you need grip and don't want to think about it. It's tough but, this wax almost never glides fast so it makes a poor race wax - but that's not what It's for. This is one of the best recreational waxes out there for those just picking up the sport. Vauhti Carrot's nemesis.
Violet P40 (-15C/-30C)
One of the best Rode hardwaxes! Viola is better than Viola Multigrade on the glide side of things. This kick wax glides fast and gives excellent grip, world cup ready when you need it. Should always be tested when temperatures are zero or below due to it reliability.
Yellow P60 (1C/4C)
The classic Rode Yellow competes with modern recipes and fluoros with ease. This wax might be worth testing in conditions where zeros or rub skis are close but not quite working. Also a good wax to test before switching to full on klister. Test it in a mix for special conditions.
