Rode GL-00 Arctic Powder 50g is a specialized fluoro-free powder glider for very cold, dry, and abrasive snow conditions – the classic "Arctic" additive from Rode (now Swix/Rode) that increases base hardness, protects against wear, and boosts durability and glide in extreme low temperatures.

Use alone on ultra-cold tracks or as a top layer over a base paraffin (like Rode R20 Blue) to extend wax life and resist abrasion from hard, dry snow. Iron in at 160°C for penetration, let cool, scrape lightly, and brush (nylon/steel/horsehair) for a fast, clean finish. Excellent dirt resistance and acceleration in refined or aggressive cold snow – a must for winter training, citizen races, or fluoro-free events in Quebec's deep freezes.
